Well, I found another meme. This one is truthful Tuesdays. I got it over at this blog. So the question for today's truthful Tuesday is:
What talent do you wish you have...
but don't?
Well, I've got to think on that one. Those of you who know me know that I have lots of irons in various fires. I really enjoy homeschooling, sewing and learning new things. I have always had dreams of becoming a midwife so I guess the one talent I wish I had would be to wake up in the morning with skills like Ina May Gaskin or a job like JayVon Muhammad. I love birth and I know one day I will be a midwife but, I wish I had the talented hands of one today. I guess that's not really a real talent in some peoples eyes but, hey that's all I don't know how to do that I really want to know how to do.

What an AWESOME talent to desire! After giving birth to my daughter-- and seeing what an amazing job not only my own doctor, but her doctors in NICU did those first few days-- I too considered becoming a nurse/midwafe. Then I remembered how I get physically ill at the sight of certain bodily fluids... and realized I should probably stay as far away from the hospital as possible!
